Company Background

Dynamics Southwest was formed in 2006 to focus on the sales and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV enterprise software. Dynamics Southwest roots span over a quarter of a century with a focus on distribution, light manufacturing, made-to-order assembly and finance. Dynamics NAV began its history in the United States in 1993 as Navision software. In 1996 Navision selected 10 software specialty companies to represent Navision in the US. Dynamics Southwest, then Houston Dataflow was one of these original 10 and first in Texas to offer Navision software to businesses throughout the Southwest. In 2002 Microsoft purchased Navision adding it to its family of Dynamics software for business.

1981 – Houston Dataflow, Inc. founded

1983 – Navision created in Denmark

1993 – Navision comes to the United States

1996 – Houston Dataflow becomes one of the first 10 Navision resellers in the US, first in Texas

2002 – Microsoft purchases Navision adding it to the Dynamics software for business family

2006 – Dynamics Southwest is created from Houston Dataflow focusing on Dynamics NAV sales and implementation.
